The People-Pleasing Needs to End

How well do you put off the lie imposed upon you by others? More often than not people do not see us as we really are— they do not see themselves as they really are. Many people are content to sleep-walk through their lives. When anything or anyone shakes them out of their slumber, they become angry or afraid. How can someone who is stuck in his/her own trauma see the light, radiance, and splendor of you?

If we haven’t developed a strong sense of self, we can be pulled down by their negativity. We become rattled by their fear and worry. This is why we need to be relentless in cultivating our sense of self—a fierce digging of our own well deep within ourselves.

Small-minded people will try to keep you small so that you don’t challenge their preconceived notions of who you are. Anyone who gets intimidated or feels threatened by you being your authentic self needs to go. Honor yourself and end the toxic cycle of people-pleasing.

When you stand in your power and refuse to be limited by people who are blind to their own limitations, you are free.

Do not let people pull you back. Be discerning. Understand that many people are speaking through a filter of their own trauma and limitations. Remain firm in yourself — do not let yourself be the…
