Take me to the trail of Self

Take me to the trail that leads me back to myself.

Take me to the forest where sunlight drips like honey magic through the branches.

Bring me home.

Bring me the sacred nectar that cleanses from the inside out — pull down the cosmos in a cup and stir thickly through my veins.

Unleash me. Unhinge me. Unwind me.

Take away this crippled self.

These old clothes.

This distraction.

This unrelenting anxiety.

That tells me I don’t know who I am, or what I want, or that I don’t belong.

Release me from the ever-burdening PUSH to become something.

To prove myself.

To justify my right to exist.

I much rather prefer to be a Snow Queen.

Queen of the Forest.

Entryway to the Kingdom.

United with the pines.

Preaching to the leaves.

Dancing with falling snowflakes.

Swooning with the dewy mist.

Preaching the news atop fallen logs in the river.
